Join Us October 22nd for Subaru's Make a Dog's Day Adoption Event

At Tucson Subaru, we're more than just your friendly neighborhood car dealership.  When it comes to sharing love and creating lasting relationships that matter, our team is here to help find homes for our furry little friends in Tucson, AZ.  During our dealership's annual Dog Adoption Event, customers can adopt a puppy and potentially save a life by helping the Humane Society of Southern Arizona find a home for up to 31 dogs.

How to Participate

This October, we invite you to participate in helping Tucson Subaru find homes for those animals in need. On October 22nd, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, our team is proud to welcome you to adopt and befriend the puppy of your choice, in addition to test driving your favorite new Subaru!  Whether you're shopping for a new car or you're interested in adopting a dog, Tucson Subaru makes it easy to do both by helping you explore our new and used inventory and by covering adoption costs for up to 31 dogs this season.

Adopt a Dog & Save a Life

Provided by the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, our dealership is helping find new loving homes for dogs in the area that require life, love, and compassion.  If you're interested in adopting a puppy, you'll also receive a Bark Box full of goodies with each adoption, including Sonoran Hot Dogs and Street Tacos for humans who decide to adopt a furry little friend from Tucson Subaru.

While supplies last, we encourage drivers in Tucson to contact us to learn more about the adoption process.  Even if you don't think you're ready to adopt a dog but wish to learn more about the Humane Society's initiative to foster and protect the animals in our community, we encourage you to join us.  In addition to the free food for humans, there will also be live music and giveaways hosted by KDRI the Drive, so you definitely don't want to miss out!

What is Needed for a Successful Adoption?

Much like anyone can buy, lease, or finance a new car if they meet certain criteria, the same applies to drivers in Tucson who wish to embark upon a journey of successfully adopting a new dog.  At Tucson Subaru, there are several things needed for guests to successfully adopt and foster a dog during our annual Dog Adoption Event, including:

  • Valid ID - Driver's license will suffice
  • Adopters are required to fill out an adoption application
  • Bring all the people living in the household where the dogs will live. This includes roommates, spouses, partners, kids, in-laws, family members, and so on
  • If there is currently another dog(s) residing in the home, please bring the dog(s) to the adoption event so that introductions can be done on-site prior to adoption, ensuring that the dogs will get along at home
  • If living at a rental property, please bring Pet policy information confirmed by your landlord
  • All pets are required to leave the adoption event with a martingale collar and a leash.  Please make sure to bring both with you
  • Please make sure children DO NOT RUSH toward the adoptable pets, as it may frighten them
